Meet The Organic Alchemist
Each handcrafted product by The Organic Alchemist is part of a journey which starts with Katherine’s idyllic Sussex countryside childhood. A love of nature and awareness of conscious living was encouraged by her holistically-minded mother, and Katherine’s lifelong fascination with the healing powers of plants began.
Embarking on a career as a massage therapist and reflexologist in 2005 allowed Katherine to witness first-hand the benefits of a whole-person, natural approach to health. Addressing the unique skin concerns of hundreds of clients over the years, she began an in-depth study into the science behind the ingredients in skincare products. While discovering that many mainstream and high-end beauty products contain cheap and often harmful ingredients wasn’t a surprise, it was the companies’ unethical approach - from commonplace animal testing to the use of palm oil – that led Katherine to found The Organic Alchemist. She knew there was another way: nourishing our skin while tending our shared earth.

Her bespoke blends draw on years of holistic practice, scientific research, and a deep and abiding care for the planet. Harnessing nature’s bounty in natural, organic oils, flowers, herbs, butters and essential oils, The Organic Alchemist range now includes facial oils, creams and masks catering for all skin types. Initially tested on and loved by Katherine’s clients, they can now be found in a number of exclusive treatment rooms across the UK, and the entire range is shipped worldwide.
Each and every product is hand-crafted by Katherine herself, remaining true to her promise to never compromise on the quality of her ingredients. Living in East Sussex with her young family keeps Katherine connected to the wild places she loves best – and where it all began…
